2. Data Collected During Account Creation
To use the Glyph Master application, the User must create an account. The following data are collected during the account creation process:
- Email address (mandatory, used as the login identifier);
- Username (optional, publicly displayed within the community);
- Preferred language (optional, used for the interface).
In addition, certain technical data may be collected automatically for security, abuse-prevention, and proper service operation purposes, including:
- The IP address at the time of Extension submission and animation sharing;
- The URL of the public Git repository containing the source code of the submitted Extension;
- Technical metadata associated with the submission (date and time, device type, operating system, diagnostic information).
These technical data are used solely to ensure security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, and the traceability of sensitive actions, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
Data is used to:
- create and manage the user account,
- enable login to the application,
- display the username in community spaces,
- adapt the interface to the selected language.
Legal basis: Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6.1.b).
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as the account remains active, as it is essential for the operation of the service.
In the event of account deletion:
- account data is deleted,
- shared resources remain accessible but are anonymized, unless an explicit request for resource deletion is made.
5. Content shared by the user
The application allows sharing resources with the community:
- animations,
- extensions,
- creative files,
- miscellaneous content.
These resources may contain: an author name, a username, or any information voluntarily provided by the user.
GDPR Treatment
The user remains responsible for the personal data they include in their creations. This data is considered voluntarily published. The publisher does not modify this content, except in the event of a request for deletion or anonymization.
In case of account deletion
Resources remain available to the community (service continuity). The author name is anonymized, unless an explicit request for deletion is made.
6. No sharing with third parties
Personal data is:
- never sold,
- never transmitted to advertisers,
- never used for profiling,
- never sent to unnecessary external services.
8. Security
Data is protected by reasonable technical measures. Passwords are stored in hashed form (Argon2id).
9. User Rights
The user may request:
- access to their data,
- rectification,
- deletion,
- anonymization of their resources,
- deletion of their account.
