Glyph Master Core Features
A powerful, flexible, and extensible animation engine that brings your games to life.
An immersion platform designed for physical tabletop gaming
Glyph Master is designed to add a layer of atmosphere and staging to role-playing, board, and strategy games played around a real table. Its goal: to allow you to prepare your effects in advance and trigger them instantly during the game, without ever slowing down the game pace.
At the heart of Glyph Master lies a powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use animation engine. Core features — multi-windowing, transitions, loops, delays, parallelization, triggers, overlays... — give the engine its flexibility and its ability to chain complex effects.
Extensions provide concrete capabilities: displaying images, playing music, controlling DMX lights, managing encounters, driving IoT objects, etc.
A clear structure: boards, animations, and acts
1. Game Boards
Boards are the “projects” in which you prepare your game session. They group your display zones, animations, and acts. You can create as many as you wish, export, import, and share them.
2. Animations
Animations are the core of your staging. They combine Glyph Master's core features with actions provided by extensions.
They can display images, play music, control DMX lights, fog machines, or IoT objects, move windows, chain effects with fixed or random delays, repeat via loops, launch multiple effects in parallel, run in sequences, or even stop other currently running animations.
3. Acts
Acts group your animations according to the progression of your game: game phases, scenes, locations, chapters, encounters, transitions… Each act contains configurable triggers that launch your animations.
These triggers can be activated by a click, a link, a Web Service, or a Streamdeck, making Glyph Master a true automation hub for your table. Each click can represent a natural progression: “start of encounter”, “start of combat”, “end of combat”, etc.
Glyph Master Core Features
Multi-window & overlays
Slice the player screen into zones, layer elements, create frames, masks, and complex layouts like in actual play or OBS.
Transformations & transitions
Move a window, make it appear, disappear, zoom, slide… Transitions bring your scenes to life.
Loops & repetitions
Repeat an effect for a duration, a number of iterations, or indefinitely. Ideal for flickering torches, water drops, flapping wings…
Delays & timings
Add fixed or random delays to create rhythm, suspense, or variety.
Parallel & sequential animations
Launch several actions simultaneously or build sequences that evolve with each click or over time.
External triggers
All your animations can be triggered via a click on the app, links, Web Services, or a Streamdeck.
Import / Export
Save your boards, share them, work on multiple machines, or keep working versions.
Total control
An animation can stop another. And in case of trouble, an emergency stop button resets everything.
A core engine powered by extensions
Glyph Master relies on an extensions system: each extension adds new actions that your animations can use. Display, audio, lights, IoT, encounter management… the possibilities are endless.
